I’m a lifelong reader whose love of stories began early with beloved series like Nancy Drew and Sweet Valley High. As the years went on, that passion deepened through immersive worlds filled with elemental magic and unforgettable characters found in series such as Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Outlander, and The Wheel of Time. I’ve always been drawn to multi-book sagas, where larger storylines unfold over time and character connections often reveal far more than they first appear.
I graduated from Valencia College, and Guardians of Aeloria is my debut as a fantasy author, marking my first foray into fiction writing. When I’m not writing, I work as a Project Manager for a healthcare company, where one of my key responsibilities is crafting executive communications. I bring that same love of structure, purpose, and storytelling into the worlds I create on the page.

Travel has always been one of my greatest joys, and I’m fortunate to share that love of adventure with my husband, who is always ready to explore the next horizon with me. Some of my favorite memories include taking cooking classes in Italy, scuba diving Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, wandering the storybook villages and rolling green countryside of England, and glamping beneath star-filled skies with Under Canvas in their beautiful U.S. national park locations. As a fantasy author, I draw inspiration from these experiences, weaving the elemental magic of travel into my stories.
gardening
Gardening is one of the simplest and most rewarding pastimes in my life, embodying a sense of elemental magic at it's most basic.
There is something mystifying about planting a tiny seed, giving it a little water, a little sunshine, and watching it grow into something vibrant and delicious. Nurturing my plants in my garden beds and fruit barrels allows me to connect with nature's wonders. Each season brings fresh harvests that my family and I enjoy throughout the year, as long as the birds and bunnies don’t get to them first!

I love making rustic, hearty meals layered with rich flavors, and thanks to my husband introducing me to black pepper and onions, I can hardly imagine cooking without them now. I still make a few childhood favorites with an adult twist, from hotdishes and stroganoffs to dishes inspired by our travels like Guinness pie and sausage rolls. I often think of my cooking as a form of magic, blending ingredients to create something extraordinary.
Holiday meals are especially dear to me, though even with a small family, I always seem to cook as if twenty-five people are about to walk through the door.

My husband and I love gathering snacks on the weekend, settling in together, and disappearing into another world for a few hours. We especially enjoy ARPG couch co-op adventures like Path of Exile II, Baldur’s Gate III, and Diablo IV, along with classic LEGO favorites like Harry Potter, Star Wars, and The Hobbit. When I’m playing solo, some of my favorites are Outward and Hogwarts Legacy, where I can explore elemental magic in captivating worlds. While so many games are shifting toward online-only experiences, I still believe one of the best parts of gaming is sharing the same room and the same screen, enjoying the fun of playing side-by-side with someone.
